Rinsola Babajide, who previously played for the U-21 English national team, recently switched to the Super Falcons of Nigeria
Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, was visibly moved as Rinsola Babajide showcased her melodious voice during a team initiation, Soccernet.ng reports.
Rinsola, a winger for the Spanish women’s club UDG Tenerife, recently made the switch to the Super Falcons after representing England in the U-21 teams for eight games.
As part of the customary initiation for new members of the Nigerian national team, Rinsola was asked to sing a song for her teammates.
In a video shared by Naija Footballers on Instagram, the 25-year-old was seen singing a song that touched the hearts of her fellow teammates, including Barcelona Femeni star Oshoala.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria faced Ethiopia last Wednesday in their quest to secure a spot at the upcoming Olympic tournament scheduled for Paris in 2024.
Both Rinsola and Opeyemi Ajakaye had their playing time on the pitch for the first time, with Rinsola expressing her joy and gratitude for her debut on her social media platform.
“A proud moment for me & my family making my Nigeria debut! 25.10.23 A date to cherish forever. Psalm 118:” she wrote on her Instagram feed.
As the 11-time Africa Women’s Cup of Nations champions prepare to host Ethiopia’s Lucy at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on January 31 for the return leg of the qualification tie, Rinsola will be aiming to earn more playing time and contribute to her team’s success.
