According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are admirers of the defender and they have identified him as a priority target. Even though their managerial situation has not been resolved, they are ready to move for the talented young central defender.

The defender is valued at around £60-70 million, and it remains to be seen whether his suitors are willing to pay up. He could end up justifying the investment in the long term.

Erik ten Hag faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford and he could be shown the door this summer. Regardless of the of who the new manager will be, Manchester United plan to sign Everton defender. However, they will face competition from Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. Both clubs are tracking the 21-year-old defender and it remains to be seen where he ends up.

Branthwaite has proven himself in the Premier League with Everton, and he should prove to be a quality acquisition for all three clubs.

Jarrad Branthwaite would be a future investment

Manchester United need to replace Raphael Varane this summer and defender seems like the ideal acquisition. He is already operating at a high-level and he could fill the void left by the French international in the long term as well. He is only going to get better with coaching and experience.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have looked vulnerable defensively and they need another central defender to complete the defensive unit. Branthwaite would be a long-term acquisition for them and it remains to be seen whether they can beat the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City in the race to sign him.

The Premier League champions will look to keep improving their squad and compete for major trophies in the coming seasons. They have the financial resources to get the deal done as well.
