Griffey points his camera at soccer legend Lionel Messi

Baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr. has picked up sports photography in his post-playing days.
The Hall of Famer was spotted on the sideline at Wednesday’s Inter Miami CF vs. Nashville SC soccer match with a camera and his vintage backwards cap.
As a member of the media and a still photographer, Griffey was on hand to snap pictures of a red-hot Miami CF team that has dominated since Lionel Messi — another sports superstar — joined the club in July.
This is hardly the first time that Griffey has shot pictures at prominent sporting events. The Seattle icon was a fixture at this year’s MLB All-Star Game, including a stint as a photographer.
Griffey isn’t the only baseball great who’s been active in the sports photography scene in the last decade. Randy Johnson, whose Hall of Fame career coincided with Griffey’s, has also been a photographer following his retirement from baseball.
