A look back at the 2024-25 Americans Abroad season

The 2024-25 European season has come and gone.

From Christian Pulisic playing a large role for AC Milan, to Chris Richards and Crystal Palace lifting the FA Cup, to Weston McKennie and Juventus qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, there was a lot for U.S. men’s national team fans to smile at.

Several key players took large leaps at club level including Antonee Robinson, Johnny Cardoso, Malik Tillman, and Alex Zendejas. Others endured tough moments such as Jordan Pefok, Ethan Horvath, and Jonathan Tomkinson.

One thing is for sure though, it was a busy season for many of the faces that will be fighting to be a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s 2026 USMNT roster.

Here is a closer look at the key stats from the 2024-25 Americans Abroad season:

Premier League

Antonee Robinson, Fulham: 38 appearances, 3,358 minutes played, 10 assists. 11th-place Premier League finish.

Tyler Adams, Bournemouth: 32 appearances, 2,354 minutes played, three assists. 9th-place Premier League finish.

Haji Wright, Coventry City: 31 appearances, 2,293 minutes played, 12 goals, one assist. Reached EFL Championship promotion playoffs after 5th-place finish.

Josh Sargent, Norwich City: 33 appearances, 2,516 minutes played, 15 goals, five assists. 13th-place finish.

Aidan Morris, Middlesbrough: 37 appearances, 3,024 minutes played, two assists. 10th-place finish.

Brenden Aaronson, Leeds United: 47 appearances, 3,635 minutes played, nine goals, two assists. First-place finish led to Premier League promotion.

Caleb Wiley, Watford: 17 appearances, 1,080 minutes played, two assists. 14th-place finish.

Daryl Dike, West Bromwich Albion: 12 appearances, 250 minutes played, one goal, one assist. Ninth-place finish.

Ethan Horvath, Cardiff City: 20 appearances, 1,830 minutes played, four clean sheets. 24th-place finish led to relegation to League One.

Cole Campbell, Borussia Dortmund: 23 combined appearances between U-19, 1,206 minutes played, Dortmund II, and first team. three goals, three assists.

Lennard Maloney, Mainz: 26 combined appearances between Heidenheim and Main, 1,458 minutes played 6th-place finish, qualified for UEFA Europa League group stage.
